How can I log on to this site and create my personal username and password?
The NYCDOE’s Division of Nonpublic Schools (DNPS) has partnered with Connect with Kids and has been assigned an organization code. That code allows New York City DNPS parents and educators to create a personal user name and password to access password-protected Connect with Kids evidence-based online resources. Click on the Sign Up button in the upper right hand corner of the homepage and follow the prompts.

How do I get the DNPS organization code?

What is blended learning? 
The concept of blended learning is the integration of digital tools and online content into classroom instruction. The DNPS is taking a blended learning approach in reaching parents, educators and students themselves with evidence-based online and video resources to support social and emotional learning and character skill building, to support both academic achievement and lifelong success.

Who uses Connect with Kids resources?
K-12 and college educators and staff including (classroom teachers, school nurses, guidance counselors and P.E. teachers and coaches), social workers, probation officers, hospital personnel, and parents all use Connect with Kids. Any adult who wants to help improve the lives of children will find that Connect with Kids is a great tool to help students relate to adults and each other.

How are Connect with Kids video and print resources used?
Schools, school districts, organizations, and parents nationwide use Connect with Kids videos and accompanying print resources in one-on-one sessions, group activities, and in school-wide assemblies.  Parent coordinators use the programs for workshops and parent meetings. Here are other uses:
