April is National Poetry Month … Find Your Inner Poet! 

It’s National Poetry Month, a celebration of poetry established by the Academy of American Poets. Why celebrate poetry? Poetry helps us to teach our children writing, grammar and reading, and expresses thoughts, feelings and ideas that can help each of us gain a greater understanding of literature, language and the world around us. Let’s learn more about poetry at home and at school.
